Direct Federal associates can assist you with your banking needs six days a week at our branch office located at 50 Cabot Street in Needham, just off of Route 95 (Route 128) at Exit 19A. Branch hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.; Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Direct Federal is part of both the NYCE® and CIRRUS networks, which offer over 900,000 ATM locations worldwide. You can use your Direct Federal debit card for purchases anywhere that MasterCard is accepted. You’re also entitled to 20 free ATM transactions per month.
What’s more, you’ll NEVER pay an ATM surcharge fee when you access your account at one of the over 2,000 SUM locations or any one of the 800 plus ATMs in Publix Markets in Florida and Georgia. You can also make deposits to your account at one of over 200 NYCE® Shared Deposit ATM locations in Massachusetts.

You can manage your accounts online with Direct Federal’s Web Banking service. View balances, transfer funds, make loan payments, view your statements, view cleared checks and download account information into Quicken or Microsoft Money. We also offer an online Bill Payment service that gives you greater control and flexibility when paying bills.

Our convenient Bank-By-Mail Form makes it easy to deposit money to your Certificate of Deposit, Money Market Account, Savings, Member Checking, or Club account. Every time you send in a deposit, we’ll post your check to your account the day we receive it and send you a confirmation, a Bank-By-Mail Deposit Form and a postage-paid envelope for your next transaction.
Through Web Banking, you initiate a wire transfer from your Direct Federal Checking Account to another institution. For wire transfers from any other type of account, you must complete a wire transfer form and have it notarized. Simply call a Service Associate at 781.455.6500 and they can send you a wire transfer form or, if you prefer, you can go to the Branch and complete the form and have it notarized all in one visit.
Your account information is only a phone call away with our free telephone banking service. With Call 24, you can check your account balances, transfer funds between accounts, make loan payments, request a withdrawal by check, check the status of deposits, withdrawals and checks.
