Your loan application will be approved within 24 hours Monday through Friday! Applications completed on a weekend will be approved the next business day. If you wish to help expedite your loan you can complete an application directly on-line.
Important Notice-Locking your Mortgage Interest Rate
When you apply for a mortgage loan with Direct your interest rate is estimated at that day's current rate. The rate is not locked at the time you apply, it is floating (not guaranteed). Because interest rates can fluctuate daily without notice, you may choose to lock your rate (guarantee a specific rate during a designated period of time).
You can lock your interest rate 3 business days after your loan is approved. You must provide a rate lock deposit (1% of the loan amount)and a signed rate lock agreement at the time you request a rate lock.
