The directors, management and staff of Direct Federal Credit Union are concerned about and respect the privacy of our members' personal financial information. Our members provide sensitive information to the credit union in the course of daily business and we are committed to treating such information responsibly. We know our members expect privacy and sensitivity for their personal and financial affairs.

Direct Federal will take all the necessary steps to safeguard sensitive information entrusted to us by our members. The following Privacy Policy outlines practices regarding personally identifiable financial information for members and others with whom we establish a "member relationship" pursuant to the National Credit Union Administration's Rules and Regulations.

Types of Information Direct Federal Collects and May Disclose
We collect non-public personal information about our members, as described below:

• Information we receive from members on applications, forms, or by phone such as your name, address, social security number, date of birth, employer, income and assets
• Information about member transactions with us, our affiliates, or others such as your account balance, payment history, credit card usage, ATM/Debit card usage, information from checks, electronic transfers and parties to transactions
• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as credit worthiness and credit history

We may disclose all of the information we collect about our members and former members, as described above, to third parties only as permitted by law. We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services intended to promote Direct Federal's products and services.

Safeguarding Member Information
We restrict access to non-public personal information about our members to those employees and volunteers who have a need to know that information to provide members with products and services. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard our members' non-public personal information.
