Cyber bullying is a crime. If your child is the target of cyber bullying, you should document everything and contact both your child’s school and the local authorities. This will increase the likelihood that the matter will be dealt with in an appropriate and productive way. It will also send a message to your child that they are protected and that what is happening to them is wrong. Remember to praise your child for coming to speak to you about the problem and remind them that many people have had similar experiences.
