Direct Federal Credit Union Donates 400 Books to the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless 05/04/2015

Needham, MA; April 30, 2015 – Direct Federal Credit Union is proud to announce they collected 400 books to be donated to the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless and the Community Hope Initiative. Direct Federal employees and members donated books through the month of April, with a match from the credit union to bring the total to 400. Direct Federal joins credit unions across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island to help children of all ages gain knowledge and succeed in school through reading.

The books will be donated to children in the area through the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, a group which works to eradicate homelessness through prevention, education, and direct service across Massachusetts, in cooperation with the Community Hope Initiative. Since 2001, the groups have collected over 250,000 books and donated them to children in need.
