Senior Underwriter

Our energetic lending department is seeking a full-time experienced underwriter.  The Senior Underwriter is responsible for ensuring a timely and thorough review of application requests for first mortgage, indirect, consumer, HELOC and commercial loans, consistent with Direct’s credit guidelines.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business with a minimum of five years underwriting experience.  Experience in commercial lending preferred but not required.  Must possess excellent communication, customer service, analytical and decision making skills.  Registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) will be required.

 

MEMBER SERVICES ASSOCIATE

The Member Services Associate answers inquiries from potential members interested in Direct’s products and services and current members who have questions regarding their accounts. This includes resolving member problems regarding their checking, savings, ATM/debit cards and Visa accounts. You will also process loan applications accurately and efficiently. In this role you will review members’ existing account relations and cross-sell needed products and services that provide long term solutions for members. The Call Center Member Service Associate must have a positive attitude and thrive on delivering remarkable service.

Qualifications for the position include a minimum of two years customer service and/or sales experience, excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational and problem solving skills. Maintaining a high level of knowledge about Direct’s products, services and procedures is required. The Call Center Member Services Associate will be required to register as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS).

IT Specialist

The IT Specialist provides routine support and assistance for all workstation, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) hardware, software, operating systems, and peripheral equipment as well as basic core system operations and support.  This individual assists the Director of Network Services and the Director of Systems Integration with all core operations tasks, PC/Server hardware and software implementations and upgrades.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience, or certification from credited technical school or higher, working with Windows, PCs, and Servers and in a Microsoft Active Directory environment.  Familiarity with HP UNIX platforms or the Fiserv Spectrum/Summit core financial operations preferred but not required.  MCSA or other Microsoft administrative certification preferred.  Excellent problem solving, organizational skills and attention to detail and strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
